Cyprus Stock Exchange Records Slight Increase

The Cyprus Stock Exchange experienced a slight increase on Monday, with the General Index gaining 0.46% and closing at 286.77 points. The FTSE/CySE 20 rose by 0.62%, closing at 173.97 points, while the daily turnover reached €287,048. The indices of the Main and Alternative Markets increased by 0.08% and 1.37% respectively. Conversely, the Investment Index recorded a decrease of 0.70%, while the Hotel Index remained unchanged. The shares of Bank of Cyprus (€8.40, down 1.18%), Atlantic Insurance (€2.40, up 0.84%), Dimitra Investment (€1.565, down 0.63%), Cyprus Cement Company (€1.34, up 2.29%), and Louis Plc (€0.14, unchanged) attracted the most investment interest. In total, 10 shares moved upwards, 3 downwards, and 4 remained stable, with the number of transactions reaching 145. Furthermore, the Ministry of Finance announced the maturity of the 13-Week Treasury Bills, 10th Issue 2025, on January 23, 2026.
