Cyprus President Presents EU Presidency Priorities to European Parliament

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, is presenting the priorities of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU today at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The presentation will take place in the Plenary Session and will be followed by a joint press conference with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola. The Presidency's priorities focus on strengthening Europe's strategic autonomy, resilience, and competitiveness, as well as promoting stability and peace in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. President Christodoulides will emphasize the importance of respecting international law and European values, as well as the EU's support for Ukraine.
