Cypriot Singer Della Wins European Music Award

Cypriot singer and songwriter Della has been awarded one of the Music Moves Europe (MME) Awards at the Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) festival in Groningen, Netherlands. She was joined by Camille Yembe (Belgium), Carpetman (Ukraine), Sarah Julia (Netherlands), and Sofie Royer (Austria) as winners. The Grand Jury Prize went to Lia Kali (Spain), who also won the MME Public Choice Award. The awards, supported by the Creative Europe program, recognize emerging artists shaping the sound of European music. European Commissioner Glenn Micallef congratulated the winners, highlighting the diversity and creativity of the European music scene. The awards have showcased significant names such as Judeline, Zaho de Sagazan, Stromae, ROSALÍA, and Dua Lipa. Each winner receives €10,000, with the Grand Prize winner also receiving a €5,000 'green touring' voucher for sustainable touring.
