Cypriot Film 'Hold Onto Me' to Premiere at Sundance Film Festival

The film 'Hold Onto Me' by Cypriot director Myrsini Aristidou will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2026, in the World Cinema-Dramatic Competition section. This is the first Cypriot feature film to be selected for the festival, and represents a significant achievement for Cypriot cinema. The film explores the relationship between a father and daughter, set against a coastal landscape of Cyprus. It stars Maria Petrova and Christos Passalis. The film is an international co-production between Cyprus, Greece, Denmark and the United States.
