CIFA: Assets Under Management Reach €11.4 Billion, Record High for Entities

The investment fund sector in Cyprus continues to strengthen qualitatively and quantitatively, with Assets Under Management (AUM) reaching €11.4 billion and the number of active entities reaching a record high of 260 licensed, registered and approved companies. This increase indicates growing confidence from the international investment community in the Cypriot sector. A significant portion of investments, amounting to €2.8 billion, is being channeled directly into the Cypriot economy, contributing to real economic growth. CIFA President Maria Panagiotou emphasized that the sector is maturing and developing with quality characteristics, emphasizing governance, transparency and long-term value. In an international environment of uncertainty and competition, CIFA highlights the importance of stability, predictability and maintaining Cyprus's comparative advantages. Strengthening institutional maturity, implementing the European regulatory framework and developing specialized human capital are key priorities. CIFA is committed to supporting its members and promoting Cyprus as a reliable and competitive international investment fund center, contributing to the sustainable development of the economy.
