Children Who Dream and Demand

The article focuses on the phenomenon of school violence and delinquency in high schools and lyceums, but also shifts the focus to another, often overlooked side: students who stand out for their sensitivity, critical thinking, and desire to contribute positively to society. It refers to incidents of vandalism and violence, emphasizing the need for psychological support and pedagogical approach for students who exhibit problematic behavior. At the same time, it presents the views of two students, members of the Adolescent Advisory Group of the Children's Rights Commissioner, who highlight the importance of freedom of expression, youth participation in decision-making, and the cultivation of respect in schools. The article calls for a more balanced approach that recognizes and encourages positive student initiatives, alongside addressing violence and delinquency.
