“CARNE/VALE” Exhibition at the Limassol Carnival Museum by TEPAK Fine Arts Students

The “CARNE/VALE” exhibition is being held at the Limassol Carnival Museum, featuring artworks by students from the Fine Arts Department of the Technological University of Cyprus (TEPAK). The exhibition offers a contemporary, critical approach to the tradition of the carnival, examining its social impacts, such as isolation, superficial joy, commodification, and environmental consequences. Through various media (video, soundscapes, installations), the students redefine the space as a field of reflection, building a dialogue between identity, the ephemeral and the lasting, celebration and its effects on the city and its inhabitants. The opening will take place on March 28th and the exhibition will run until April 4th.
