C-130 Aircraft on Standby to Transport Injured PAOK Fans

A C-130 aircraft is on standby at the Elefsis airbase, ready to transport injured PAOK fans from Romania to Greece, if requested by the competent authorities. This move comes after a tragic traffic accident in Timiş County, Romania, in which seven Greek citizens lost their lives and three others were injured. The Romanian Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, is in constant communication with his Greek counterpart to coordinate the situation and provide information. The three injured, aged 20, 20, and 28, are hospitalized at the County Emergency Hospital in Timisoara and their condition is stable, although they have multiple injuries. The Romanian Minister of Health informed about the condition of the injured, stating that one is hospitalized in the Trauma Unit, one in the Orthopedic Unit, and one in the Neurosurgery Unit. All injured are hemodynamically stable and are under constant monitoring. The accident involved a minibus carrying PAOK fans who were traveling to France for the match against Olympique Lyonnais. Hundreds of PAOK fans traveled to Lugoj to express their support and visit the injured in the hospital.
