A 33-year-old Albanian man has been referred to trial for the attempted murder of a 40-year-old Romanian man and the assault on his 46-year-old ex-wife in Larnaca. According to the testimony of the 46-year-old, the defendant broke into her apartment through the balcony door and attacked both her and her partner. He then grabbed an axe and attacked the 40-year-old, causing severe injuries, including the amputation of his thumbs.
