Athens Photo Festival 2026: Call for Submissions

The Athens Photo Festival has announced the opening of submissions for its 2026 edition. The open call is addressed to photographers and creators who use photography as a means of expression, offering a platform for artistic dialogue and the presentation of their work to an international audience. Proposals can be submitted electronically until March 9, 2026. The Festival aims to showcase over 80 artists from around the world, covering a wide range of photographic approaches, from fine art and conceptual photography to documentary and photojournalism. Given its dynamism, the festival seeks to highlight contemporary visual culture. The exhibition will be held at the Benaki Museum / Piraeus 138, covering an area of over 3,000 square meters. In parallel with the exhibitions, the Festival will organize educational activities, networking opportunities, and public programs. Participation in the Festival offers a range of benefits, including the exhibition of work, production support, accommodation, presentation in the Festival catalogue, digital promotion, participation in International Portfolio Reviews, APhF Talent Lab, APhRC Artist Residency, and access to APhF Connect. Artists have the opportunity to receive additional support and recognition through these initiatives.
