Annie Alexui: "I Will Take Legal Action, Even at European Level" - Reveals Apology from Senior Official

Ioanna Fotiou, known as Annie Alexui, has expressed her intention to take legal action, even at European level, regarding her complaints and the way Cypriot authorities dealt with her case. She believes that the Cyprus Police does not have the jurisdiction to take her testimony abroad. She also expressed her refusal to accept a suspension of warrants, fearing they might be reactivated. Annie Alexui strongly criticized the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General, questioning the independence and impartiality of the investigation into her case. She does not seem willing to testify in Cyprus unless objectivity is ensured. She also states that she possesses material related to the Faidon Phaedonos case, which she has provided to the authorities. She expresses deep distrust towards the public service and the Ministry of Justice, stating that she trusts no one. She compares the situation in Cyprus to Russia, where she says she feels safe and supported, describing Cyprus as a "hostile place". She revealed that she received a phone call from a senior Cypriot police official who apologized to her. She has already filed complaints to various institutions, such as the Authority for the Investigation of Complaints against the Police and the Human Rights Committee, but believes there has been no substantial response. She intends to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights, arguing that her rights have been violated.
