Andreas Neofytidis Passes Away – Loss for Journalism and the Arts

Journalist, poet, and musician Andreas Neofytidis has passed away, leaving a void in the fields of art and journalism. Born in Limassol in 1948, he studied philosophy in London and Grenoble, influencing his approach to journalism and poetry. He worked at the Athens-Macedonian News Agency from 1984 to 2013, serving as editor-in-chief of the foreign language bulletins. Alongside journalism, he pursued poetry, publishing collections and collaborating with literary magazines. He was also a lyricist, working with prominent composers and writing lyrics for well-known songs. His funeral will be held at the Zografou Cemetery.
