ANAMNESIS: Exhibition by Stefanos Filippou and Anastasia Sivkova

The Gloria Gallery presents the exhibition “ANAMNESIS” by Stefanos Filippou and Anastasia Sivkova, a visual exploration of memory. The exhibition includes drawings, watercolors, and canvases that capture moments before they are lost, personal experiences, and sensory impressions. The works, sometimes precise and sometimes expressive, are visual traces of places and moods, inviting the viewer on a deep inner search into how memory is formed, dissolved, and reappears. Stefanos Filippou, an architect and artist of Cypriot, Serbian, and French descent, combines his 15 years of architectural experience with a strongly expressive artistic practice. His work draws inspiration from childhood sketches and experiments with various media, both traditional and digital. Anastasia Sivkova, a self-taught artist, has a deep and enduring relationship with painting. Through curiosity, experimentation, and an intuitive understanding of color and mood, she has developed a personal and independent artistic voice. The “ANAMNESIS” exhibition is a meeting of two artists who, through different approaches, share the common desire to capture the fragile and constantly changing nature of memory and to invite the viewer to a personal recollection.
