Aid Ship Arrives in Cuba Amid Energy Crisis

A humanitarian ship carrying medical supplies, food, and solar panels has arrived in Havana, Cuba, in an effort to help the country cope with a severe energy crisis. The crisis has been exacerbated by an oil blockade imposed by the United States. The mission was organized by an international coalition of organizations and individuals. The ship, symbolically named "Gramma 2.0", faced difficulties due to weather conditions. More ships are expected in the coming days, carrying a total of 50 tons of aid. Cuba is experiencing frequent power outages, high fuel prices, and garbage collection problems, due to fuel shortages and aging infrastructure. The situation worsened after the suspension of oil deliveries from Venezuela and US threats of sanctions against countries supplying fuel to Cuba.
