Λειτουργοί του Τμήματος Τελωνείων ανέκοψαν σήμερα 19/03 στο σημείο διέλευσης Αγίου Δομετίου, όχημα που οδηγούσε 80χρονος στο οποίο εντοπίστηκε μεγάλη ποσότητα καυσίμων.
Συγκεκριμένα στον αποθηκευτικό χώρο του οχήματος στο πίσω μέρος εντοπίστηκαν 10 πλαστικά 20λιτρα παγούρια που περιείχαν συνολικά 160 λίτρα πετρελαίου και 40 λίτρα βενζίνη.
Ο οδηγός τέθηκε υπό σύλληψη για αυτόφωρα αδικήματα, ενώ τα παγούρια με το περιεχόμενο τους, όπως και το όχημα ως το μέσο μεταφοράς τους κατασχέθηκαν.
Λίγο αργότερα ο 80χρονος αφέθηκε ελεύθερος αφού έγινε αποδεκτό το αίτημα του για εξώδικο συμβιβασμό των αδικημάτων με την καταβολή ποσού €1,000 ευρώ.
