Σύμφωνα με την Αστυνομία, το τροχαίο σημειώθηκε γύρω στις 6:40 το απόγευμα της Παρασκευή, όταν κάτω από συνθήκες που διερευνώνται, όχημα που οδηγούσε 63χρονη, παρέσυρε τον 60χρονο, την ώρα που επιχειρούσε να διασταυρώσει το δρόμο.
Στο σημείο και ασθενοφόρο, το οποίο μετέφερε τον 60χρονο στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Λευκωσίας όπου διαπιστώθηκε ότι φέρει υπαραχνοειδη αιμάτωμα στον εγκέφαλο και κρατήθηκε για νοσηλεία.
