24-Year-Old Arrested for Assisting Illegal Immigration

A 24-year-old man was arrested in Limassol, following a court warrant, as he was wanted in connection with a case of assisting the illegal entry, passage, and stay of third-country nationals in Cyprus. The case concerns offenses committed in September 2025 in the provinces of Nicosia and Limassol and is being investigated by the Morfou TAE. The man was arrested around 3:15 pm on March 26, 2026, following a court warrant issued for the investigation of a case of conspiracy to commit a felony, assisting illegal entry, passage and stay of third-country nationals, money laundering from illegal activities and migrant smuggling. The Police are investigating the case and collecting evidence to determine the extent of the 24-year-old's involvement in illegal immigration. The arrest is part of the Police's efforts to combat illegal immigration and criminal activity related to it.
