22 Countries Declare Readiness to Contribute to Reopening the Strait of Hormuz

Over 20 countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, and South Korea, have expressed their readiness to contribute to ensuring safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, while also condemning Iran's actions. These countries condemn Iran's recent attacks on commercial vessels and civilian infrastructure, as well as the de facto closure of the Strait by Iranian forces. The joint statement emphasizes the countries' willingness to cooperate for the security of the maritime route. A total of 22 countries signed the statement, including the UAE and Bahrain.
