Business Escape Challenge at UCLan Cyprus: Fostering Teamwork and Problem-Solving Skills

UCLan Cyprus University successfully hosted the “Business Escape Challenge: Can You Unlock the Mystery” competition for high school and private school students. The event, held on February 5th and 6th, 2026, aimed to develop skills such as teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem-solving under pressure. Participants were challenged to solve business puzzles and “escape” from themed rooms covering areas like accounting, business administration, linguistics, tourism, and marketing. Winning teams were awarded cash prizes and university scholarships. Dr. Aspasia Simillidou, the program coordinator, and Professor Lucas Glyptis, Dean of the School of Business Administration, expressed their enthusiasm for the competition's success and its contribution to developing skills essential for students' academic and professional journeys. This event is part of the university's efforts to promote creativity and collaboration among young people.
