Police Schedule Dispute: Supreme Court Refers Case to Administrative Court

SAK PASYDY has filed an application with the Supreme Court to annul the Chief of Police's decision regarding working hours, which changed to 11 hours instead of 12 hours per two-day cycle. The Supreme Court ruled that the matter should be examined by the Administrative Court, as there is no relevant judicial precedent. SAK PASYDY had chosen to appeal to the Supreme Court for a faster resolution of the issue, but the court's decision now leads it to consider an appeal or filing a complaint with the Administrative Court. The union accuses the Chief of Police of unilaterally making a decision on a labor issue, which it considers unprecedented. SAK PASYDY assures its members that it will take all necessary legal action to protect their rights and will decide on its next move soon.
