“I Owe My Life to My Dog”: Dramatic Rescue of 71-Year-Old on Deserted Beach

A 71-year-old man was dramatically saved thanks to the persistence of his dog, a Labrador named Bo. The man collapsed while walking alone on a deserted beach in Dorset, UK, likely due to a cardiac event. Bo began jumping on his owner, running anxiously, and barking loudly, attracting the attention of a passerby. The woman, along with her partner, immediately started CPR, while two off-duty doctors arrived shortly after and continued the resuscitation efforts. Paramedics used a defibrillator three times before the man showed signs of life. He was taken to hospital where he received an implantable defibrillator and has now fully recovered. The man states he owes his life to his loyal companion.
