Limassol Marathon: Road Closures and Parking Information

Ahead of the Limassol Marathon this weekend, traffic regulations and road closures have been announced to facilitate runners and the public. On Saturday, two lanes of Christodoulou Chatzipavlou will be closed, while on Sunday, sections of roads will be closed in both the western and eastern parts of the Marathon route. In the western section, roads will be closed from Spyrou Araouzou to the Zakaki roundabout, while in the eastern section from Christodoulou Chatzipavlou to the “Grand Resort” hotel. Drivers are urged to follow the instructions of the Police and volunteers. Several parking spaces are available for runners and spectators, such as on Archbishop Kyprianou, at the GSO, on Agiou Andreou Street and other roads in Limassol. However, some municipal parking areas in the Polyfunctional Seaside Park will be closed for specific hours and days. Additionally, the Marathon Registration Center will remain open until Saturday, with specific operating hours. Those interested can find more information on the Marathon website.
