Fire Causes Extensive Damage to Meter Room in Pyla

Extensive damage was caused to a meter room belonging to the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) in Pyla due to a fire caused by a short circuit. The Fire Service responded quickly to the call and managed to bring the fire under control. The room sustained significant damage, and the exterior paint of the building was also affected. The EAC disconnected the electricity supply for safety reasons.
