Fidan: US-Iran Showing Flexibility for Deal

According to Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the United States and Iran are showing flexibility towards reaching an agreement regarding the Iranian nuclear program. The US appears willing to accept some level of uranium enrichment by Iran, while Iran recognizes the need for a deal, taking into account US limitations. The talks, mediated by Oman, focus on negotiating Iran’s current enriched uranium stockpile. Fidan believes that Tehran genuinely wants to reach a deal with limitations on enrichment and strict inspections, as in the previous 2015 agreement. However, he warned that expanding the talks to ballistic missiles could lead to further instability.
