Neither the Game and Fauna Service nor the Police have received any evidence regarding the allegations made by the Equality Union regarding “internal corruption”. A Police Spokesperson stated that anything that emerges during the Police’s investigation into the arson of vehicles belonging to Game and Fauna Service officials will be investigated, while a spokesperson for the Game and Fauna Service, Petros Anagiotis, stated that they have requested the Union to submit specific evidence. The Police continue their investigation into the arson of the vehicles and will consider calling members of the Equality Union for testimony if deemed necessary. The Game and Fauna Service accused the Union of issuing statements without providing evidence, tarnishing the image of its staff. The spokesperson for the Game and Fauna Service, Petros Anagiotis, stated: “Bring us evidence and we’ll take heads.”
