Four Arrested in Connection with Larnaca Shooting Incident

Four men have been arrested in connection with the incidents and shootings that occurred in Larnaca. A 48-year-old, who was injured during the altercation, has been remanded in custody for 8 days, while two other suspects, aged 28 and 29, have been remanded in custody for 4 days. A 27-year-old was released, as his presence in the apartment where bullets were found was deemed coincidental. During a search of an apartment, police found and confiscated eight military cartridges of 9mm caliber. Investigations are continuing by the Larnaca TAE to clarify all aspects of the case and identify any other persons involved. The case has caused concern among the authorities, with some reporting a crisis and increase in organized crime in the area. A meeting was held at the Larnaca ADE to assess the situation and take appropriate measures.
