High-Performance Computing in Action: Cosmos Group Completes 14 HPC Projects

The Cosmos Group has completed 14 High Performance Computing (HPC) projects in Greece and Cyprus, providing advanced computing infrastructure for Artificial Intelligence, big data analytics, and scientific simulations. As an authorized NVIDIA partner, the company offers end-to-end solutions, from design to production operation, including CPU/GPU computing nodes, storage resources, networking, and parameterization. In Cyprus, CBS IT Systems Cyprus, a member of the group, has strengthened CaSToRC and installed high-performance servers at the High Performance Computing Center of the Cyprus Institute, utilizing Lenovo and NVIDIA technologies. These projects enhance research in areas such as climate science, energy, and biomedicine. In Greece, the Cosmos Group has implemented projects at the National Observatory of Athens (NOA-AEGIS) and the University of Crete, providing computing and storage systems for scientific calculations and Artificial Intelligence applications. Additionally, it owns an NVIDIA HPC & AI Data Center in Thessaloniki for the development, testing, and production operation of AI applications. With increasing investments in HPC and AI in Europe through initiatives like EUROHPC, the Cosmos Group continues to invest in strong and reliable infrastructure, offering rapid Proof-of-Concept (PoC) implementation and comprehensive high-performance solutions, reducing the time to market from idea to production.
