US Defense Secretary: 'Today, Tuesday, will be the most intense day of attacks'

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that the US will continue to intensify its campaign of attacks against Iran and declined to specify how long Washington intends the war to last, emphasizing that this decision rests with President Donald Trump. According to Hegseth, Iran launched the fewest missiles it was capable of launching so far. The Chief of Staff of the National Defense, Air Force General Dan Kane, stated that the US military will consider options for escorting ships through the Strait of Hormuz and that Iranian forces are not stronger than the US had calculated. Additionally, the US is carrying out attacks against Iranian mine-laying vessels and has sunk or destroyed more than 50 warships in the first 10 days of the campaign.
