“Trikomo” to Authorities: Rewarding Aykut – Exposing Us

The community leader of Trikomo, Iakovos Chatzivarnavas, expressed strong objections to the decision to allow Aykut to serve his sentence in Israel, characterizing the move as a “reward” for the usurper and a “sell-out” of refugee properties. He accused the government of failing to respond to his concerns and of sending the wrong message to other potential usurpers. Mr. Chatzivarnavas threatened legal action, even before the European Court of Human Rights, if he does not receive explanations for the decision.
