NATO Considers Strengthening Anti-Ballistic Defense in Turkey

NATO is considering strengthening Turkey's anti-ballistic defense after the recent launch of three missiles from Iran. Sources say NATO is considering sending additional Patriot systems to Incirlik Air Base to protect against potential missile threats. Strengthening the AN/TPY-2 radar in Kurecik, which was targeted, is also being considered. Discussions about strengthening defense arose after the successful interception of missiles from Iran, which was also seen as a test of the Alliance's response capability. NATO will continue to adjust its measures to counter threats.
