TEPAK Joins EUSEEDS Program to Boost Youth Employability in Eastern Mediterranean

The Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) is participating in the European EUSEEDS program, which aims to enhance the employability of young people in the Eastern Mediterranean. The program, co-funded by the European Union, will create 24 university Employment Centers in countries in the region, including one at TEPAK. The Employment Centers will provide training programs in digital and soft skills, as well as in entrepreneurship, with the aim of integrating students, graduates, and vulnerable young people into the workforce. More than 7,000 people are expected to be trained. The project will also offer training opportunities to people from the local community who belong to vulnerable groups, enhancing their digital literacy and ability to participate in the labor market. EUSEEDS is implemented in five countries in the Eastern Mediterranean – Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine – and TEPAK was selected along with 23 other universities after a rigorous evaluation process. TEPAK's participation in the program is expected to contribute significantly to enhancing the employability of young people in Cyprus and the wider region.
