Israel Destroys Qasmiyeh Bridge in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli army announced that it destroyed the Qasmiyeh Bridge over the Litani River in southern Lebanon, having previously warned of its bombing. The bridge was destroyed in an airstrike, as part of the escalation of clashes between Israel and Hezbollah. According to Israel, Hezbollah uses the routes around the bridge to move fighters and materials into southern Lebanon. The destruction of the bridge aims to disrupt these movements and limit Hezbollah's operational capabilities. At the same time, bombardments and airstrikes were reported in various cities in southern Lebanon, including Arnoun, Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, and Yammour al-Saqif. The strikes have caused casualties, with at least four people killed and seven injured. The situation in southern Lebanon remains tense, with the risk of further escalation being real. Clashes between Israel and Hezbollah have intensified in recent days, raising concerns about regional stability.
