Tourism Revenue Up 12.4% in October, 15% in First Ten Months of 2025 – But Per Capita Spending Declines

Tourism revenue in Cyprus increased by 12.4% in October 2025 compared to October 2024, reaching €458.6 million. Overall, for the ten-month period of January-October 2025, revenue increased by 15% year-on-year, reaching €3.4314 billion. Despite the increase in overall turnover, there was a 4.0% decrease in per capita tourist spending in October 2025, compared to October 2024, reaching €852.80. British tourists remain the largest market, accounting for 31.4% of all tourists in October 2025, with an average daily spend of €108.42. They are followed by Israeli tourists (11.1% of the total) with €132.12 per day and German tourists (7.8% of the total) with €111.79 per day. The Statistical Service announced that the data comes from the Travel Survey and demonstrates a general positive trend in tourism, despite the slight decrease in per capita spending.
