Germany and France Launch 'E6' Group to Boost European Economy

Germany and France have taken the initiative to establish a group of six strong economies within the European Union, known as the 'E6' group, with the aim of strengthening Europe's competitiveness. The group consists of Germany, France, Poland, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands. According to Deputy Chancellor Klugbeil, Europe needs to become stronger and more independent, especially in an unstable geopolitical environment. This initiative responds to the need for enhanced cooperation and the implementation of specific measures that will boost Europe's economic dynamism. The group's first meeting will be held soon via teleconference, where ways to accelerate and improve European policies will be discussed.
