Cypriot President to Address Greek Parliament

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, will address the Greek Parliament on May 14th, following an invitation from the President of the Parliament, Nikitas Kaklamanis. This visit is characterized as a historic moment for the Republic of Cyprus. During a meeting in Nicosia, President Christodoulides thanked Mr. Kaklamanis for the invitation, describing it as a great honor and a historic moment. The meeting also discussed issues related to energy policy and the situation in the Middle East. President Christodoulides referred to the successful cooperation with the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at the European Council, regarding the activation of Article 42.7 and addressing the high cost of energy.
