A 41-year-old man died at Paphos General Hospital with a knife embedded in his abdomen, following a confrontation in the Paphos area. Police are investigating the case as premeditated murder. The 30-year-old suspect, the victim's nephew, confessed to stabbing his uncle, but claims he did not intend to kill him. According to reports, the murder was triggered by a trivial matter, specifically teasing through videos on TikTok. The autopsy revealed that death was caused by internal bleeding and shock resulting from a stabbing and cutting instrument. Three other individuals who were in the car with the perpetrator have been arrested on charges including conspiracy to commit a felony, possession and transport of offensive weapons, and malicious damage. One of them sustained friction burns and abrasions. Police received information about the altercation and located the suspect outside his home, along with his vehicle showing clear signs of damage. Simultaneously, another vehicle transported the injured man to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
