Seven Agreements Signed Between Greece and Turkey

During the meeting in Ankara, Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan agreed that differences between Greece and Turkey should be resolved based on International Law. Mitsotakis stressed the need to lift the threat of war, while Erdoğan described him as a “valuable friend”. The two leaders committed to the importance of dialogue and regional stability. Seven cooperation agreements were signed, including in culture and foreign policy. Mitsotakis emphasized the need for convergence, inviting Erdoğan to visit Athens, while Erdoğan stated that existing issues are not insoluble based on International Law.
