Four Arrests Made in Connection with Larnaaca Brawl and Shooting

Police have made four arrests in connection with the brawl and shooting that occurred in Larnaaca on Saturday. Initially, a 48-year-old man who was injured during the altercation and was hospitalized was arrested. Subsequently, three other individuals, aged 26, 28, and 29, were arrested for illegal possession of explosives. According to the Police, the brawl broke out following disagreements between two groups of people. During the altercation, shots appear to have been fired, and casings and bloodstains were found at the scene. The 48-year-old was taken to hospital with a stab wound but succumbed to his injuries. During searches of an apartment where the three suspects reside, Police found and confiscated eight military cartridges. The three occupants were arrested for the immediate offense of illegal possession of explosives and are in custody for questioning. The Larnaaca TAE continues its investigations to clarify all aspects of the case and determine the motives behind the brawl.
