Σώοι και καλά στην υγεία τους είναι και οι 22 Γεωργιανοί που εργάζονται ως πλήρωμα στο ελληνόκτητο τάνκερ υπό την ονομασία Zefyros και με σημαία Μάλτας, που χτυπήθηκε στον Περσικό Κόλπο και τυλίχθηκε στις φλόγες.
Το περιστατικό έθεσε σε συναγερμό τις ιρακινές Αρχές καθώς μαζί με το συγκεκριμένο τάνκερ χτυπήθηκε ακόμα ένα, το Safesea Vishnu με σημαία Μάλτας και μάλιστα ένας ναυτικός έχασε τη ζωή του.
Το Zefyros εκτελούσε μεταφόρτωση ship to ship (από πλοίο σε πλοίο) όταν δέχθηκε την επίθεση που προκάλεσε μεγάλη φωτιά εντός των χωρικών υδάτων του Ιράκ.

Η πυρκαγιά αντιμετωπίστηκε άμεσα από τις ιρακινές Αρχές και τελικά κατασβέστηκε και το ευχάριστο είναι ότι δεν έχει αναφερθεί κανένας τραυματισμός.
