President Convenes Meeting on Tourism Amidst Middle East Crisis Concerns

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, is convening a meeting at the Presidential Palace with representatives of the tourism sector due to concerns about the impact of the crisis in the Middle East on tourism. The meeting will be attended by representatives from PASYXE, STEK, ACTTA, KEVE, OEB, and Hermes Airports. The meeting will focus on assessing the situation and determining the next steps. KEVE has already expressed its strong concern about the impact of the crisis on the Cypriot economy, while AKEL is calling for measures to address the rising cost of living and protect the economy.
