15 Arrested in Netherlands on Suspicion of ISIS Propaganda on TikTok

In the Netherlands, fifteen individuals have been arrested on suspicion of spreading Islamic State propaganda through TikTok. Authorities discovered a TikTok account posting propaganda material with Dutch subtitles, encouraging people to join ISIS and praising martyrdom for the organization. The arrests took place across various regions of the Netherlands following the arrest of a key suspect last month. Of those arrested, 13 are Syrian and 4 are Dutch nationals, with four being minors. The TikTok posts garnered a significant number of views, reaching over 100,000 in some cases. TikTok, owned by Chinese company Bytedance, has not yet commented on the case.
