Stephanou's Harsh Criticism: "Government Focused on Show While Country Risks Power Outages"

AKEL General Secretary Stefanos Stephanou strongly criticized the Christodoulides government, accusing it of lacking the ability to address serious problems such as water, energy, and wildfires. He criticized the President's insistence on not taking responsibility and not removing the Minister of Agriculture, Maria Panagiotou, whom he considers incompetent. Mr. Stephanou argued that the government is focused on public relations and continues the same poor course as the previous government, warning that Cyprus risks power outages. He also expressed the view that the transfer of the Commander of Civil Defense does not solve the problems.
