Strong Reactions to Cyta's Entry into the Energy Market - "Decisions Must Be Judged by the Supreme Court"

The Parliament's decision to allow Cyta to operate in the energy market has sparked strong reactions, particularly from the EPOPAH union of EAC. The union's president, Kyriakos Tafounas, denounced distortions in competition, stating that RES licenses that once cost a few thousand euros are now sold for millions. He also expressed reservations about the legal ambiguities created by the amendments and called for the decisions to be judged by the Supreme Court. EPOPAH is announcing legal action and dynamic mobilizations if EAC does not appeal to the Supreme Court. Mr. Tafounas questioned the need for Cyta to enter the energy market, asking what EAC cannot do.
