Concert 'Lights of Cinema – France and Europe with Music'

The performance 'Lights of Cinema – France and Europe with Music' is a scenic journey through European cinema, with an emphasis on French and French-speaking culture. The performance highlights the relationship between music and cinematic image, presenting iconic melodies from the 20th century. Three distinguished performers – pianist Stavros Dritas, baritone Kyros Patsalidis, and singer Vakia Stavrou – collaborate with an orchestra of 14 musicians, under the direction of Stavros Dritas and with orchestrations by Fotis Mousoulidis. The repertoire includes songs by famous composers such as Michel Legrand, Nino Rota, and Ennio Morricone, as well as works by Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour, and Manos Hadjidakis. The performance will be held at the Rialto Theatre on March 15, 2026. The event is organized by the Alliance Française of Limassol, with the aim of promoting the French language and culture, as well as strengthening the artistic dialogue between France, Cyprus and Europe.
