Cyprus FA-Club Presidents Meeting: Technical Committee, Judicial Bodies and Arbitration Discussed

The leadership of the Cyprus FA (CFA) met with the presidents of the First Division clubs to discuss current issues in Cypriot football. The CFA President informed them about Andreas Morias taking over as General Director in the summer, replacing Anthoulis Mylonas. Additionally, the establishment of a Football Technical Committee was announced, which will submit proposals regarding competitions and the sport in general. A key topic was securing a building permit for the CFA's sports center in Korno, with a goal of starting work by June. Discussions also covered refereeing, judicial bodies, changes to the CFA's statutes, and kickoff times during the winter period. Furthermore, the need to increase the participation of Cypriot players in the First Division championship was emphasized. The meeting provided an opportunity for exchange of views and coordination between the CFA and the clubs to address the challenges facing Cypriot football.
