Minister of Labour to Attend Hearing Before EP Employment Committee in Brussels

The Minister of Labour and Social Insurance, Marinos Mousiouttas, is departing from Nicosia for Brussels to participate in a formal hearing before the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) of the European Parliament. The hearing takes place within the framework of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The presentation will focus on the priorities of the Presidency in the field of employment and social policy, with emphasis on fair and inclusive employment, investment in skills, and fair mobility of workers. The Minister will also hold meetings with Members of the European Parliament and other institutional stakeholders. The Minister's participation in the hearing is an important opportunity to promote Cypriot positions and priorities in the field of labour and social policy at European level.
