Cyprus FM to Present EU Presidency Priorities in Brussels

Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos is traveling to Brussels to present the priorities of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union. He will address the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) and the Committee on Development (DEVE), focusing on issues of development cooperation and humanitarian aid. He will also participate in the EU's Foreign Affairs Council (FAC), where discussions will include Russian aggression against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, and the Great Lakes region. The Council will also feature an exchange of views with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk. Mr. Kombos will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts and other officials.
