European University Cyprus to Establish Branch in Athens

The European University Cyprus (EUC) has officially submitted an application to establish a branch in Athens, named “European University Cyprus – Athens Branch (EUC Athens)”. The branch will be developed on an initial 50-acre site, with the potential to expand to 100 acres, in Pallini, Attica. It will include modern infrastructure such as amphitheatres, laboratories, a library, and student spaces. Initially, four schools will operate: Medicine, Life and Health Sciences, Business and Digital Technologies, and Law. EUC Athens will collaborate with the Athens Medical Group for the clinical training of students. The investment, exceeding 50 million euros, is expected to create new jobs and boost the local economy. The application process will begin after the completion of licensing procedures by the National Authority for Higher Education (ΕΘ.Α.Α.Ε.) and the Cyprus Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ΔΙ.Π.Α.Ε.). The new branch will build on the experience of the parent institution in Cyprus and its branch in Frankfurt, and is part of the Galileo Global Education group.
