Sahali Accuses Ustel of Corruption and Bribery

Erkut Sahali, deputy chairman of the Republican Turkish Party (RTP) parliamentary group, accused Prime Minister Unal Ustel of corruption and bribery. Mr. Sahali demanded explanations for the removal of civil servants and criticized preparations for a constitutional referendum, describing it as a pretext to avoid elections. He also recalled the rejection of a request for lifting immunity at the suggestion of Mr. Ustel and the involvement of his close associates in legal cases. Mr. Sahali emphasized the political decay plaguing the “tdbk” and the lack of satisfactory explanations for the accusations against politicians and public figures.
