Turkey is considering alternative scenarios for managing a potential crisis in Iran, with a focus on preventing new migration flows. Officials from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs briefed parliamentarians on possible scenarios of destabilization, including government collapse, without officially confirming the creation of a “safe zone”. Simultaneously, the Ministry of Defense has strengthened security measures at the border with Iran, with extensive surveillance. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Ankara does not support external intervention in Iran and urges the US to resolve the issue through diplomatic channels.
